Why Littles Is Different

No AI. On purpose.

This is the whole reason Littles exists, so it is worth being clear about.

Most tracker apps run your logs through an algorithm and hand back a nap your baby was supposed to take. It sounds helpful. In practice you spend the afternoon watching a clock, waiting for a window that was calculated from thousands of other babies, and when your baby does something else, and they will, it lands as though you got it wrong.

You did not get it wrong. The average did. There is no algorithm in Littles at all: nothing predicting, nothing suggesting, nothing quietly scoring how your day went. Just your baby's real day, laid out clearly enough that you can see it for yourself.

A prediction can only ever describe the average baby. Yours is not the average baby.

Apps that predict

Tells you when your baby should sleep

Generic wake windows from a population average

Notifications that make you feel behind

A schedule to follow, and to fail

Your data feeding someone else's model

Littles

Shows you what your baby actually did

Your baby's own 24 hour sleep needs

Quiet unless you switch it on

A record you understand, and can act on

Your data staying yours

How It Works

Log it. Leave it. Look back.

STEP ONE

Tap it in

Two taps starts a timer. That's it. Quick enough to do one-handed while you're feeding, and quick enough that it still happens at 2:47am when you're barely awake.

STEP TWO

Let the week build

You don't have to do anything clever. A few days in, the shape of your baby's day starts showing up on its own.

STEP THREE

See what's really going on

Track sleeps for seven days and Littles shows your baby's own 24 hour sleep needs, worked out from their days rather than an average. The long nap that costs you bedtime shows up too.

Reminders

Nothing beeps unless you ask it to.

Every reminder is switched off when you install the app. Turn on the one thing you actually want chasing, like a medication dose, and leave the rest silent. Littles will never ping you to say your baby is late for a nap, because Littles has no opinion about when the nap should be.

Breastfeed

A nudge when you want one.

Sleep

Off unless you turn it on.

Medication

Never miss a dose.

Nappies

Only if that's useful to you.

Night mode

A screen that doesn't wake anybody up.

Switch Littles to night mode and the whole app goes dark. No white glare at 2:47am, no lighting up the room while you start a sleep timer with one thumb.

If you're co-sleeping, that matters. The phone stays inches from your baby's face and a bright screen is the fastest way to end a feed that was going well.

It matters for you too. Bright light in the middle of the night makes it harder to drop back off once the feed is done.

Lock screen widget

Check the timer without unlocking anything.

Start a sleep or feed timer and it appears straight on your lock screen, counting up. A glance tells you how long they have been down, or how long this feed has gone on.

You can stop the timer from there too. No unlocking, no finding the app, no bright screen while you are holding a sleeping baby.

Your Own Notes

The detail you'll never remember on your own.

Add a note to any log while it is fresh. Two weeks later, when you are trying to work out what changed, it is all still there in your own words. Your notes belong to you, and nobody else can edit them.

Working with a coach?

Link your sleep consultant to your account and they see your real logs as you record them, instead of a diary written up from memory three days later. You choose when to link them, and you can unlink at any point.

Questions

The things parents ask us.

Working with families?

Sleep consultants and infant feeding specialists use Littles to see their client families' real data instead of a reconstructed diary. Unlimited families on every plan.
